“It looks like he qualifies.”
Our ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) Coordinator Pat about Luke qualifying for state-funded physical therapy.  I’ll have a longer post up next week about what that all means.  At least I know some of my tax dollars go to something worthwhile 🙂

“I’m soooo good at this!”
ALG, talking about how good she is at swim lessons.  She is super close to mastering the move.  I’m so proud of her.  Pictures to come next week.  I hope.

“Fadah Deeeeen!!”
Clare, this morning when we got our monthly surprise 7:15am visit from Fr. Dean, Luke’s Godfather.  Yes, that would be in the AM.  I even had his plate out and breakfast ready…just in case.

“She needs surgery.”
Yeah, that’s definitely a blog post for next week.  Spoken by Anna-Laura’s ENT.

Obviously, I have a fair amount of catching up to do.  But, it’s almost carline time, the house is still quiet and I’m enjoying it while I can.  Y’all make it a great three-day weekend and don’t forgot to offer up some prayers of thanksgiving on Monday for all those who make our freedom free.

God bless America!

We are doing ECI speech. We've had three case workers in the last year, but other than that I think they've been pretty good. If you ever have any questions about that experience give me a holler!! Keeping all of you in our prayers.

ECI is the best thing you can do for Luke, and good for you for getting him started so early! So many parents wait, hoping things will "get better on their own." We did developmental pre-school, OT, PT, behavioral/social skills, and vision therapy. Although it was exhausting, our son is now entering "regular" third grade with very minor special ed services and for all practical purposes a totally "typical" experience/environment. You'll be amazed at what ECI will do for your kiddo and how far ahead of the curve it will put Luke later on in life!
