Motherhood

I originally began the blog to communicate with friends and family about the latest shenanigans at our house.  As the family grew, so did the stories and the pictures and the laughs.  When our youngest son, Luke, was born early, the blog took on a deeper meaning.

Yes, I blog about the challenges of raising a special needs child.

I write about birthing/herding/raising/loving five children.

I also blog about my faith.

The DIY projects we tackle.

And, how much I love the Texas Aggies.

Mostly, I just blog about life as it happens.  Sometimes I’m extraordinarily funny (that would be a quote from my oldest child), sometimes not.  I just try to be real.  Real Kathryn.  Unedited.  Motherhood is a journey.  There are days when I feel like Supermom, like I’m getting it all right.  Most days, though, I feel like I have so much more to learn.  I get the question of “how do you do it” often, so my best shot at answering all those questions are the links below.  I say, let’s learn together.  Let’s laugh and cry and vent and drink a virtual margarita together.  Come on, it’ll be fun!
