Y’all know how much I adore family photos, right? Like, love them, even though I am not loving my mid-section right now. I’ve blogged about how to plan for and capture awesome photos and a few tips on finding the right photographer.
For months, I have been on the lookout for eight different Texas style shirts for our family photos this fall. I know, I’m a planner.
When my friend’s husband, Jude Landry, came out with this design, I knew I’d found our first winner.
As the daughter of a Texas history teacher I love it when a designer pays attention to the details. That bird? Mockingbird, as in Texas’ state bird. Bluebonnets are our state flower and 1845 is when this great state was founded. Oh, and MAROON? I’m pretty sure that’s what sold me. We all know how much I love Aggieland. It’s super soft and the fit is great. That handsome teen model of mine is wearing an adult medium and I’d say it fits pretty true to size.
I am tha-rilled Jude is offering a 15% discount to all you sweet Team Whitaker readers, just use code “TEAMWHITAKER” at checkout. Offer ends May 20. And, if you follow me over on the ‘gram, the deal gets sweeter.
Raise a sweet tea to this year’s greatest Texas t-shirt!
