This week I’ll be quick. Because let’s be honest. I’ve got Christmas shopping to do! I’m one of those people who knocks it out between Black Friday and Cyber Monday and then my new BFF is the UPS man. Time to start baking him some cookies.

Quotes? This one takes the cake, courtesy of Clare, while sorting rainbow loom bands:
John Paul: Why is Mom so slow at sorting?
Clare: It’s what happens when your eyes get old.

Thanksgiving was…different. Scott and Anna-Laura took off for the game where the Aggies got ROBBED on that last play. Get some glasses, stripe. But, we started the day with Mass, had fajitas for lunch and then were complete slugs the rest of the day. It was awesome. We even learned that Squanto was Catholic. Who knew?
For those of you that chimed in on my Facebook page about my current sleep deprived state? Thank you. Gianna is, shall we say, not interested in shut-eye. Y’all had some awesome recommendations. I promise to report back! This gem of a shirt? Yeah, more on that in #4.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday coupon codes – if you have any, I would love to know. I’ll be sharing a few over on Facebook around 6am because y’all KNOW I will be up!

Hey Macy’s, that “parade” isn’t really a parade anymore. Can we get rid of all the horrible lip syncing and scantily clad people and go back to high school marching bands and balloons? Please? #bringbacksnoopy

The cards. Have left the building. Designing, writing, stamping, assembling and mailing Christmas cards must be my love language. I love love love this time of year. Fortunately for me, so does one of my kids. Anna-Laura and I cranked the Pandora and had a blast sending these off to people we love and adore. The best part? When we get a card in the mail. Our family selects a new card every evening at the dinner table, we re-read the card and pray for that family. We look forward to it every night.
My best read this week? This gem. Because sometimes, moms need to be lifted up. Well done, Britt. Well done.
I know Jen isn’t hosting this week, but I wrote them anyway! Now go eat some pie, y’all!
