Just 4.5 weeks to go until the due date and I’m beginning to worry I won’t make it.
And that is really freaking me out, you know, for obvious reasons. My last two babies have come a month early and last time it was a whole ball of crazy. If you have a prayer to spare, this momma could use some of reassurance and peace. I’d like to breathe again, too, but I know that day is quickly approaching. As I’ve said before, even though I may be uncomfortable and have wicked heartburn, I am 100% fine with this pregnancy going all the way to 40 weeks.
I completely forgot it was Laetare Sunday, but thankfully my subconscious registered that on some level and I pulled some pink out of the maternity and non-maternity closet. Since my ankles are no longer svelte and I’ve been up since 4:30am (hello, pregnancy insomnia), this is short and sweet today.
Lent is going beautifully and I can honestly say the one thing I never considered giving up has become the one thing that I’ve found myself doing. Saying no. To lots of things. It’s part third trimester, part tired, part it’s time to get real, but whatever it is, it’s making me less stressed. This no thing is pretty fabulous. It’s allowed me to say yes to some pretty great things.
This week, I promise to share: another birth story, a DIY baby book idea and a tutorial on that fun wreath juuust peeking out in the photo below.
