Our original weekend plans had three soccer games and a lacrosse game on the docket. We only managed to get to one with all the rain cancellations. Instead of a crazy busy weekend, we enjoyed a laid back one instead, complete with an Aggie football “W” against the Razorbacks.
My kind of weekend.
We barely skated into Mass just before the first reading. We had some 6yo wardrobe problems and I decided it was worth it to calm her down than take her screaming into church on time. Sometimes you have to compromise. We had a guest priest this morning and his homily really struck a chord. “What is the meaning of life?” he asked. Then he answered it with, “There is meaning because it’s a gift.”
As you ponder the gift of your life this weekend, I hope you enjoy the people you love. To all of you who sent sweet messages and kind words, thanks for helping me endure a tough month. September, you’re almost over!
You don’t get the fancy camera today, just Instagram.
Thanks FLAP, as always, for the fashion inspiration.
