This week, we opted to divide and conquer at Mass. I took the girls, Scott is taking the oldest two boys tonight. Luke is super close to being fully recovered, but the thought of taking him to Mass where everything is at head level completely freaks me out. The docs advised us to keep him from running or climbing for SIX weeks while his skull bone fuses completely. So, yeah, this is fun. We decided it was worth it to split Mass duties for a few weeks until Luke is back in action. God help me when that happens.
He’s all – what surgery?!? I’ll be giving you the full 411 later this week, after we meet with his craniofacial surgeon and neurosurgeon. But trust me when I tell you that he’s doing beautifully.
On to the fashion. This dress is another one I found in the deep, dark recesses of my closet. I think I bought it pre-Clare, so it’s a good seven years old. I always hesitate to wear it because of the empire waist. There’s always that one person that says, “So, are you expecting?” Fortunately, I did not run into that person today. #winning
I paired it with my always-favorite sling-back pumps, black earrings and black saint bracelet.
