Isn’t it awesome when you run into someone you don’t expect at Mass? Last night we attended the Vigil Mass and saw one of Scott’s co-workers and her husband. They’ve been traveling from church to church this summer, enjoying Masses all over the Diocese of Austin. I, for one, think that is brilliant.
We invited them back to the house for a glass of wine (because life’s too short not to do that!) and the four of us chatted while the kids played and I cooked dinner. They are empty-nester’s so after they left Margaret and Lance enjoyed a quiet evening, whereas we did not. HA! It was a beautiful Saturday. I even ran into a blog reader after the processional. Laura, I’m so glad you introduced yourself!
One funny ha-ha. During Mass, Luke kept encouraging his siblings to do the whole “pound it, noggin”, compliments of DudePerfect. Cute until the consecration. Then, not so cute. #lifewithboys
After getting called out by a reader for my too-short skirt last week (whatEVER), I figured I’d sport some dressy jeans to Mass. As a blogger you learn you can’t please everybody, so just be you, right?
Scott’s co-worker, Margaret, was kind enough to snap this photo of Clare and I. Right after this shot, Clare picked me four beautiful flowers. My goodness, I love that girl.
