Three weekend nights, three different families over for dinner. We totally didn’t plan it that way, it just happened. And, while my house looks like a complete tornado, it’s summer, so who cares! Oh June, how I love thee.
My parents surprised us and joined the family for Mass and dinner on Saturday evening. It was quite lovely, with lots of laughs. It’s still taking some getting used to – seeing my parents genuflect and take communion. It’s also a beautiful sight. For those that may not know, I joined the Catholic Church 17 years ago and my parents joined this Easter. To have them fully participate in the feast, both at Mass and in our home, is pretty awesome.
I *think* I’ve worn this outfit before, but boy, one of my favorites. It’s all noVae Clothing, so if you’re not already a fan, you need to be. They have modest, beautiful clothing and I love their service! I’m still not 100% sure about those black wedges, but I had seven minutes to dress for Mass. I figured they were better than flip flops.
Maxi, scoop neck t & 3/4 sleeve denim shirt: noVae Clothing *love*
Earrings/Necklace: street vendor in Johnson City, TX
Bracelets: Saint ($4 find at the Daughters of St. Paul shop on King Street in Charleston, SC) and Decade (one that was donated to me by my oldest daughter during Mass; I forgot to give it back!)
Danke to the sweet gals at FLAP for hosting fashion inspiration every week!
