I’ve never been one to pay super close attention to wearing the liturgical colors at Mass. But, I’ve been on a kick here the last couple of weeks and since today is Gaudette Sunday, I thought it would be fun to rock some pink.
Except all my pink is summer clothes.
It’s probably a fashion faux pas, but I paired my silky, summery shirt with my favorite black velvet pants. That makes it “wintery,” right? RIGHT?! I found some great closed-toe black shoes on sale earlier in the week and I love them!
This weekend, we enjoyed a whole lotta fun – a 4-H Food Show, the Nutcracker Ballet and a swanky date night sans kids. It was full of sweet memories with my husband and children. In light of what happened on Friday, I’m grateful for the blessings we enjoy. I pray you did the same.
