Let’s just kick off this fashion post with football, shall we? One word #HEISMANZIEL If you follow me on Twitter, you know how much I love football and everything Aggie. Texas A&M hasn’t gone 10-2 since 1998. That’s two years after I graduated y’all. I am beyond proud of my Aggies. Yes, I’ve always been proud, but the step is a little grander this year.
Okay, back to fashion. Since collegiate wear probably shouldn’t be on my best Mass outfits, especially since I wrote this post about fashion and God over at Austin Catholic New Media this week (which was most definitely inspired by this link up), I decided to wear this combo. You might remember those pants and shoes from Volume 1. The cardigan/sweater (what do you call that thing??) was a super score from last year’s sale at the mall – $10! I’m sporting a familiar necklace and pair of earrings, too. Our weather in Central Texas today is gorgeous, 75 and sunny. Can’t beat that. As a sidenote, after snapping just five photos, my husband looked at the camera viewfinder and said, “Huh, I’m getting pretty good at this.” I sure do love that man. Thanks for humoring me honey.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving with friends, went to Thanksgiving Day Mass, sent out Christmas cards, decked the halls and enjoyed an Aggie football game. What a beautiful week and weekend. Advent starts in a week. I am beyond excited and this Wednesday I’ll tell you why. It has something to do with Dominican Sisters and a minivan!
As always, danke to the gals at Fine Linen and Purple for hosting such a great linkup every week.
