For several years, we’ve enjoyed swim lessons with Haley. Yeah, we’ve done the Nitro gig and the kids really excelled, but when it comes to convenience, one-on-one and real personality, nobody beats our swim gal. Haley is officially a graduate of Texas Tech, but I’m hoping she’ll still be around next summer to get Luke moving in the pool. She conducts lessons in her backyard pool and it’s just a short drive from the house. We are so grateful for her patience, her flexibility and her ability to get my kids to do just about anything in the water.
Most important lessons learned this summer?
John Paul has a great backstroke. And a really chatty mouth. Less talking, more swimming buddy.
Anna-Laura takes forever to dive. But when she does it, it’s good. For a girl that has zero fear on the soccer field, the pool may be her archnemesis.
Clare is a fish. She loved the water, we just gotta work on blowing out bubbles not sucking them in.
Luke has zero fear. Of anything. Good thing momma’s running skillz have improved. I darn near went into the pool running after that kid.
Haley, as always, thanks for an awesome summer!
