Last Saturday, Will competed in the PSIA (Private School Interscholastic Association) academic competition. Think UIL for private schools. He entered Spelling and Maps, Graphs and Charts.
We were ecstatic to learn that Will placed third in Spelling and is the alternate to state. So, so proud of him. He handled himself well, even though he said he had “butterflies floating in his stomach.” I just gave him a big hug, told him to channel the butterflies, slay the event and have fun.
Sorry, no photos. I was a judge (oh my, THAT was an experience) and there’s no way Will would’ve let me take his picture anyway. You know, ’cause he’s 10 🙂
Photos and stories tomorrow about the birthday sleepover. Fun times.
