“Oh no, their washin’ ‘chine’s broken.”
Clare, complete with sad face, when she learned that Sonic’s SLUSH machine was broken. Major bummer. Guess we can hope that it gets fixed while we take a 6-week break from our favorite drink stop.
“Look at THOSE ashes!”
Anonymous little boy at Mass who pointed to his forehead, then high-fived his brother. The two pews in front of me almost fell out of their chairs laughing. I love kid humor.
“I feel like I should email you my tweets.”
A friend of mine who wondered if that would be breaking the rules. Oh how she makes me laugh.
We have a grand weekend planned. Scott and the big boys are off to the Texas State UIL Boys’ High School Basketball Tournament, held downtown. This has been Scott’s tradition for many years. I don’t complain (much) because he loves it so, so much. I’ll be spending a little time with friends and little girls this weekend. Thankfully, we took a break from all spring sports which is already proving to be a good parenting decision. And, our spring break starts today. YES! Not that we have a big vacay planned, but I am so giddy about not having to get moving as early in the morning.
In other news, I do have some fun things in store for the blog design. Need your help though. What were / are your favorite posts? If you can’t remember the title or the day, just let me know the topic and I can probably locate it. More on all that as we get closer to Easter.
Make it a great weekend!
